Hi, I’m Emily Nelson, a Florida native, lifelong dog lover, and the photographer behind Bluesville Photography. I’ve been behind the camera for over eight years, photographing everything from people and families to the little moments that make life worth remembering. Somewhere along the way, I realized that the subjects I connected with most had four legs, wagging tails, and absolutely no interest in sitting still for a photo. That’s when pet photography went from something I enjoyed to something I truly fell in love with.

Bluesville Photography was created from the belief that our pets aren't “just dogs” — they're family. I love capturing the personality, quirks, and little expressions that make your dog uniquely yours, whether they're the perfectly trained good boy or the one who spends the entire session wondering what the heck we're doing. When I'm not behind my camera, you'll probably find me curled up with a good book or out exploring Florida with my own dog, Blue. He's a big part of the reason Bluesville exists, and he reminds me every day just how quickly the years go by — and how important it is to capture them while we can.
